When you open the Bloom app, you’ll typically be on your “Invest” page 🏡

You’ll see two things instantly: a big number at the top and a pretty graph 🗒️

Let’s start with the big number at the top: your total portfolio value 🙈

💡Portfolio Value is how much all your stocks and cash on Bloom are worth

Right below the portfolio value, you’ll see a graph, which tracks how your portfolio value has changed over time 📈

You can scrub your finger on the graph line to see your portfolio value at exact points in time 🔍

Right below the graph line, you'll see buttons labeled "1D", "1W", all the way up to "5Y"

You can press these to toggle the time period that you see on the graph!

The 1 Day graph shows you your portfolio's changes today (or on the last trading day) ⚡

Keep in mind investing is a long term game, so if you see lots of ups and downs, remember that it's totally normal! 🕰️

The 1 Week graph shows you your portfolio's changes over the past week 🗓️

Weekly fluctuations are also very normal, but may paint a better picture of market trends and news than the 1 Day graph 🗞️

The 1 month and 3 month graphs show portfolio changes over 1 month or the past 3 months ⚖️

And the 1 year and 5 year graphs show your portfolio over an even longer period of time! 😮
