Disney: Founding Story

The magical tale of Disney’s entertainment powerhouse ⚡

Walt Disney was a pioneer in the animation industry, starting his career as a cartoon artist in the 1920s 🖌️

So, Walt wanted to make money out of his passion 🤑

In 1923, he and his brother Roy founded the Disney Brothers Studio in Hollywood 🎬

The studio's first major success was the creation of a series of cartoon shorts featuring a character named Oswald the Lucky Rabbit 🐰

However, the rights to Oswald were later lost 😨

They had to pivot and created a new character: Mickey Mouse 🐭

Mickey Mouse's first appearance was in the 1928 short film "Steamboat Willie," which was a huge success and helped establish Disney as a leader in the animation industry 🎥

In the 1930s, Disney expanded into feature-length animated films with the release of "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" 🌟

Families loved the animations across the country 😍

Over time, Disney also ventured into other areas of entertainment, including theme parks, television, and live-action films 🎢

Today, Disney is a global entertainment powerhouse, known for its iconic characters and innovative storytelling 🌍
