Dealing with Loss

Seeing your stocks go down will happen. Here’s what to do

It feels awesome when your stocks are “in the green” and growing 📈

But, stocks can go down from day to day as well.

1️⃣ Don’t sell without reason - remember long term 🧘

If you sell when the stock is going down, you’re accepting the loss 😮

If a stock goes down by $5 one day, it may go up the next! 📊

So, unless you sell at the lower price, the stock could still recover in the long run 🩹

Stocks go up and down day to day, and even week to week 🏎️

This is why long term patterns matter more ⏰

It’s important to be patient, since your companies might grow!

2️⃣ Consider buying more!

If you believe the company will grow, buying the stock after a drop is like a discount! 🏷️

3️⃣ Consider selling at a loss.

If you notice a long-term downtrend (continued losses over months & years) you can consider selling at a loss 😥

Make sure to read company news and research, before calling it quits on a company 🔍

Now you have three different options when your stocks start to go down.

Stay strong, think long-term and happy investing!
