A change of name, three new killer cars, and a shaky journey to going public.

In 2012, Tesla paused Roadster production to build a new Model S Sedan 🤯

Over the next few years, Tesla built Supercharger stations, began to sell solar energy products and announced Tesla Autopilot, an AI driver-assistance system ⚡️

So, Elon Musk changed his company's name from Tesla Motors to Tesla since it was selling more than just cars 🧠

Between 2015 and 2021, Tesla cranked out more vehicle models.

The Model X, the Model 3, and soon Model Y 🤯

To support the rapid growth, Tesla opened “Gigafactories” to produce batteries and vehicles 🏭

Recently, Tesla also released the Cybertruck, which both excited and upset car lovers for its interesting, futuristic design 👀
